Hyde) целью пробуждения интереса общества к проблемам плохих условий труда и чрезмерной эксплуатации подростков; первоначальное название Boys' Welfare Association через год было изменено на Industrial Welfare Society, чтобы учесть всех лиц наемного труда; в 1965 г. из названия было опущено слово welfare; основные направления деятельности: улучшение условий труда, повышение производительности труда и эффективности организаций путем образовательных программ, переговорам с работодателями, привлечение общественного внимания к актуальным проблемам, научные исследования и т. п.; в 2002 г. переименовано в Work Foundation)See:
